Clearing Your Browser Cache

The clearing of Browser cache involves deleting Cookies, Cached and Offline data. We have simplified the steps with graphical representation now.

N.B: The deletion of cookies will log you out of any logged on websites with Remember Me feature i.e: Facebook.

Mozilla Firefox

We are using Mozilla Firefox version 79.0 in this guide. In general all Mozilla Firefox browsers follow the similar approach to clear browser data.

1.) Open Mozilla Firefox -> on Top right corner you will find 3 Dash lines/Settings (click/select) .

2.) A drop down menu will open, select Options.

3.) A new settings window would open up. Select the Privacy & Settings Options from the new window.

4.) Scroll down to the Cookies and Site data Section. Then select/click Clear Data.

5.) A new small window would pop-up in Mozilla Firefox. Select/Check Cookies & Site Data and

6.) Select/Check Cached Web Content.

7.) Click/Select Clear and close the window.

8.) Please close the browser and reopen. You can now try to access your website.

 

Google Chrome and Chromium based browsers

We are using Google Chrome version 84 in this guide. In general all Chrome or Chromium based browsers follow the similar approach to clear browser data.

1.) Open Google Chrome -> Click on the (3 small dots) similar to settings in Android phones.

2) A drop down menu opens, Click/ select Settings

3) A new settings window would open up. Select Privacy and Settings from the Settings menu

4) Select/Click Clear browsing data option. ( a new window would pop up)

5.) Select Basic Menu and select time range (all time)

6.) Select Cookies and other site data 

7.) select Cached images and file

8.) Please verify the options and match to the image below. Then Select/click Clear Data.

9.) Please close the browser and reopen. You can now try to access your website.

 

Microsoft Edge

We are using Microsoft Edge latest version 84 in this guide. Microsoft Edge is also a Chromium based browser.

1.) Open Microsoft Edge -> on Top right corner you will see 3 dots lines/Settings (click/select) this.

2.) From the drop down menu select Options here a new window would open up.

3.) A new settings window would open up. Select the Privacy & Services Options from the Settings window.

4.) Scroll down to Clear Browsing Data Section. Then select/click Choose what to clear.

5.) A new small window would pop-up. Select the Time Range: All Time from the drop down menu.

6.) Select/Check the following options Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files

7.) Please verify the options and match to the image below. Then Select/click Clear now.

8.) Please close the browser and reopen. You can now try to access your website.
